The article seen by Reuters mentions so-called indirect jobs – such as development, in which the German car manufacturer can lay a road map for the feet of up to two thousand people.
It is said that Audi would reduce the number of employees by 15 percent, which means that every seventh person will be laid off. It is not known whether this only affects the company’s organization in Germany, or whether it is a European or even a global downsizing.
