Audi is launching a new, more affordable version of the Q4 e-tron electric SUV. The new variant can already be ordered in Germany.
The German manufacturer recently launched a new version of the Q4 e-tron electric SUV, which is also the cheapest electric model in its current range. Customers will be able to choose two body styles – normal and Sportback.
Even though sales of electric cars have fallen recently, Audi wants to attract more customers to its range of zero-emission models and is launching a new, cheaper variant of its most popular electric model.
The most affordable version of the zero-emission SUV is now the Q4 35 e-tron. It is equipped with a single electric motor, which is mounted on the rear axle.
The Audi Q4 e-tron has a new basic version
It generates 170 hp and is powered by a 55 kWh battery, which should be enough for a maximum range of 355 km for the regular model, while the Sportback variant can travel up to 365 km on a single loading.
The 170 HP can propel the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds regardless of the body format. In addition, the battery can be charged with up to 145 kW if you have a fast enough station available, so the 10-80% run takes 25 minutes. Audi says that to put 125 km of range back into the battery, you have to wait about 10 minutes.
The most affordable version of the electric SUV has a starting price, on the German market, of 45,600 euros, respectively 47,600 euros for the Sportback version. On the list of equipment included as standard we find Audi MMI Navigation Plus, the 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit dashboard, electrically operated tailgate and heated front seats.
