Euroins Greece was honored with an award for its overall contribution to the Organization “The Smile of a Child”, as part of the anniversary event for the 29 years of operation of “Smile”. The award was received by the President of “Smile”, Mr. Costas Yiannopoulos, the General Manager, Ms. Angeliki Mouratidou, who confirmed the Company’s support for the Organization’s actions, contributing in practice to raising awareness and enlisting the private sector in the important social work that he offers to the country.
It is noted that Euroins, in the context of the extensive Corporate Responsibility program it implements in Greece, continuously supports “Smile” throughout the 10 years of its presence in our country. Last spring, the Company extended its sponsorship support by fully insuring the Organization’s fleet of 140 vehicles for the current year as well.
At the event, a total of 17 companies were awarded which consistently and consistently trust the vision that they serve every day, 24 hours a day, the Organization and its people – scientists, volunteers and workers. In its 29 years of activity, “Smile” has actively contributed to the support of 2.2 million children and families.
Upon receiving the award, Ms. Mouradidou said: “We are particularly happy to be here today, among the beautiful family of “Smile” supporters. The great effort made by the founder of the Organization, Mr. Yiannopoulos, moves us all as it has made us love responsibility”.
Mr. Yiannopoulos stated: “I have something unique to say about everyone who is here today, about their mood, their participation, their soul. Euroins has been by our side for 10 years now covering the total safety of the “Smile” fleet of vehicles and for that we always thank them from the bottom of our hearts. Thanks to its own trust, “The Child’s Smile” is the only organization, whether public or private, that operates 24 hours a day, weekends, holidays, and is an umbrella of 10 Action Centers and that maintains as its principle, to serve the institutions of the state . Thanks to its own support, “Smile” last year provided solutions to more than 100,000 children and their families and further protected its corporate governance.”
