A poll published by the Kyiv Independent shows that Volodymyr Zelensky is falling in popularity.
Zelensky has lost 12 points in trust compared to February 2024, according to a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) published on January 7.
About 52% of Ukrainians trust President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, down seven percentage points from October 2024.
The poll, conducted between December 2 and 17 last year, comes as Russia’s all-out war approaches its third anniversary as Moscow’s troops continue to advance into eastern Ukraine.
The survey results were based on telephone interviews with 2,000 respondents living in territories controlled by Ukraine.
