The first white nights were brought by bad weather Alexandros to several areas of western Macedonia on Friday (15/11), giving impressive images with the first light of day.
Florina, Kozani, Ptolemaida, Kastoria and surrounding mountainous and semi-mountainous areas were dressed in white, after heavy snowfall for several hours.
As of early Friday evening, the snow had already covered Pisoderi of Florina, Nymfaio of Florina, Vasilitsa and Samarina of Grevena as well as Pentalofos of Kozani, creating a wintry scene.
