Bangladesh took the first session of the third day of the Antigua Test. Mrminul picked up the 21st fifty of his Test career after the break. However, he could not take his innings further after picking up his half-century. After scoring 50 runs off 116 balls, Muminul went back to the dressing room after being lbw by Jayden Sills. The 62-run partnership broke on his departure.
Liton Das paired with Mehedi Hasan Miraj after Muminul’s departure. But they failed to take their pair far. Muminul picked up a half-century but Liton failed. Liton made his way to the pavilion after being bowled by Shamar Joseph with 40 runs off 76 balls. On his departure, Bangladesh lost 5 wickets for 145 runs and was under pressure.

Earlier, West Indies went into bat after losing the toss in the Antigua Test. The hosts announced the first innings with 450 runs based on Justin Graves’ century. After declaring West Indies’ innings, Bangladesh started batting. The Tigers ended the second day’s play by collecting 40 runs after losing 2 wickets in 20 overs.
