Bangladesh need 334 runs to win

Bangladesh declared their first innings by 269 runs in the Antigua Test. West Indies went into bat with a lead of 181 runs after declaring Bangladesh’s innings. However, the hosts did not do well in their second innings. West Indies were bowled out for 152 runs by Tiger pacer Taskin. Taskin alone took 6 wickets. Being all out for 152 runs, their lead stands at 333. Bangladesh need to score 334 runs to win this test.

West Indies went into bat in their second innings on Monday. Craig Braffett and Mikail Lewis came into bat for the hosts. They picked up 21 runs in the first four overs. However, Taskin Ahmed stopped this pair in the next over. Mikail Lewis returned to the dugout after being caught by Liton Das off Taskin’s ball. On his departure, the hosts lost their first wicket for 25 runs.

Craig Braffett has formed a partnership with Kisey Curty after the departure of Mikail Lewis. But Taskin didn’t let this fight go too far. After Mikail Lewis, he also brought back Casey Curthy. Lewis went back to the dressing room with just 3 runs off 13 balls after being the victim of Taskin.
