Bangladesh won the toss and fielded – Dainik Azadi

The toss did not happen yesterday on Friday due to rain and wet field. The first day of the Rawalpindi Test was eventually postponed as the weather did not improve.

The Rawalpindi Test finally saw the light of day as there was no rain today. Bangladesh captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto won the toss and decided to bowl first in the second and last Test of the series.

Like the first Test of the series, Bangladesh has played with three pacers and two spinners. There has been one change in the visiting XI. Taskin Ahmed has entered the eleven in place of Shariful Islam who got a slight injury.

On the other hand, Pakistan, who announced the eleven two days before the first test, did not show that courage this time. However, the hosts announced a 12-member squad a day before the Test. There was no place for pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi. Another pacer Nasim Shah has also lost his place from the XI. Instead, leg spinner Abrar Ahmed and left-arm pacer Mir Hamza got a place in the XI.

Bangladesh XI: Zakir Hasan, Sadman Islam, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, Muminul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Liton Das, Mehdi Hasan Miraj, Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud and Nahid Rana.

Pakistan XI: Abdullah Shafiq, Saim Ayub, Shan Masood (captain), Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Khurram Shehzad, Mohammad Ali, Abrar Ahmed, Mir Hamza.
