Striker Robert Lewandowski contributed two goals to the sovereign victory of Barcelona.
The Catalans won easily 5:1 in Sunday’s home match against FC Sevilla, when Robert Lewandowski scored twice and confirmed his position as the leader of the scorers’ table (12 goals). Substitute Pablo Torre also scored two goals.
The players of Real Mallorca, including Slovaks Dominik Greif in goal and Martin Valjento in defense, won over Rayo Vallecano 1:0.
After the previous loss against Espanyol Barcelona (1:2), they scored fully in the fourth of the past five meetings and jumped to sixth place. Vedat Muriqi scored the only goal of the match in the 75th minute after a corner kick.
Atletico Madrid was losing 0:1 to Leganes at halftime, but turned the score around with three goals after the break. Norwegian striker Alexander Sörloth took care of two. Atletico scored fully after two previous draws, in third place they lose seven points to the leader Barcelona.
