The Baseus PicoGo 45W charger is versatile and powerful, it supports the charging of numerous electronic devices, thanks to its wide compatibility, and is compact and convenient to carry around.
Standard packaging and equipment
Let’s start with the packaging, well finished and full of very useful information already on the outside. We find, in fact, the technical data sheet of the product, a summary of its main characteristics and, above all, an overview of the various certifications such as the one QC e TÜV Rheinland. Inside, in addition to the charger, we find a short introductory guide, some useful information about the product and some nice stickers.
There is no cable in the package as it is up to the user to choose the right cable or cables for their devices. For example, in our case, we combined the Baseus charger with three different cables to be able to charge our devices and we carried out the tests with a cable USB-C/USB-Ca cable USB-C/Lightning and a cable USB-C/MagSafe 3.
Compactness and materials
The dimensions of the charger PicoGo 45W they are very interesting for its category, considering that the magazine barely measures 33 x 33 x 55.7 millimeterswithout considering the pins that go into the socket. This is an even more compact size than many magazines half as powerful PicoGo 45W. This means we can easily carry it with us in our purse, suitcase, backpack and even in our pocket if necessary.
The design is particular in that the plug is angled and adapts perfectly to all sockets that have a 45° structure, for example those of power strips or some multi-socket wall solutions. In short, as you can see from the images, this design gem helps to save space when using the charger on one of these sockets. On the other hand, however, if you use the charger on an outlet right it will be the charger that seems crooked. Small details but which are worth keeping in mind if you are attentive to spaces and the aesthetics of sockets, plugs and wiring.
The weight of PicoGo 45W it is not the most contained (around 90 grams), considering the compact dimensions of the magazine, but it is more than justified by the presence of the various protection and dissipation systems inside and by the quality of the materials used.
Baseus PicoGo 45W compatibility
One of the strengths of this power supply lies in its wide compatibility. We find a lot supported charging protocolsfor example the PD 3.0, for easy charging of numerous devices. In our tests, we charged iPhones, iPads, accessories, and even a MacBook.
Below are the main technical details of the charger PicoGo 45W Of Baseus:
- Ingresso: AC 100-240V~, 50/60Hz, 1.5A Max
- Uscita Type-C:
- 5.0V – 3.0A (15.0W)
- 9.0V – 3.1A (27.0W)
- 12.0V – 3.0A (36.0W)
- 15.0V – 3.0A (45.0W)
- 20.0V – 2.25A (45.0W) Max
- Supported protocols:
- PD 3.0
- PPS
- QC 3.0
- FCP
- SCP
- AFC
In terms of security, there are numerous protectionsfor example against overload, overheating and short circuit. The key technology, on a technical level, is the GaN (gallium nitride) with graphene cooling.
Performance and user impressions
We put it to the test with many different products, obviously with different energy demands. It is important to underline that with such a small and compact power supply it is possible to recharge iPhone, iPad and even MacBook Air (the latest models in fact come with a 30W power supply). We also put it to the test with a 14″ MacBook Pro (M1 Pro chip) and charging was completed correctly although more slowly, considering that the energy demands of the MacBook Pro are higher than those of the Air model (yes in this case, they find 67W power supplies in the package).
Obviously, The iPhones were quickly recharged, reaching 50% battery in about half an hourin media (iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 13 e iPhone 12 Pro), just as charging was quite quick iPad Pro 12.9″ (chip M2) which went from 0 to 50% in about 45 minutes.
Even more accessories small they reloaded correctly, for example AirPods Pro 2 e AirPods Max ed Apple Watch. This power supply, therefore, as long as it is recharged only one device at a timeit can be the ideal travel companion to be compact and compatible with all the most used technological devices. It would have been convenient to have two USB-C ports to be able to charge two products at the same time, for example the iPhone and the Apple Watch or the iPhone and a camera. However, more complete and larger charging stations can be powered given the maximum power of 45W, for example it is possible to use a desktop multi-device stand to charge iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods together. We also tried it with Apple’s MagSafe Duo (unfortunately no longer in production) and we had a very good time.
Again, the tests we carried out were carried out with Apple products but it is clear that many other smartphones, tablets and accessories can be recharged, if compatible with the technical specifications and protocols of the charger.
Price and conclusions
Il list price of the PicoGo 45W charger is €29.99in line with expectations for what is provided between compactness, versatility and power. Furthermore, the product is now discounted to €25.99 on Amazon in the black version, which makes it more interesting.
Those looking for a particular color can also choose one of the alternative finishes to the black one shown in this review, i.e. the blue, pink and white colors, but these are not currently obvious.

The PicoGo 45W charger is one of the most compact and versatile USB-C power supplies to choose for those who need to charge multiple devices with a single solution, obviously one at a time. With a product so compact that it can be easily carried even in your pocket, it is possible to charge an iPhone, an iPad and even a MacBook, even quickly if with supported specifications. We find numerous charging protocols supported, among which PD 3.0 stands out. The only flaw? If we really have to find a flaw in it, we can say that it only has one USB-C port and that therefore its maximum power of 45W cannot be used to recharge two products at a lower power simultaneously, which would probably have made it indispensable.
