The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, became interested in an incident that occurred last August in Chelyabinsk, where an intoxicated man broke into someone else’s apartment, beat two women and hit a five-year-old girl.

The injured woman posted a video on social networks where she said that her neighbor’s partner attacked her and her mother and beat them, after which he hit her five-year-old daughter in the mouth.
According to the victim, the internal affairs bodies did not properly respond to her statement, and the attacker did not suffer any punishment.
Bastrykin instructed the acting the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Chelyabinsk Region, Konstantin Pravosudov, to report on the progress of the investigation of the previously initiated criminal case and the established circumstances.
Earlier, Bastrykin ordered the initiation of a criminal case into the beating of a female peer in Crimea by a group of teenagers.
