England’s biggest star at the moment, after the final failure against the Spaniards, went to Miami, where he spent the last days of his vacation in the company of friends.
And Bellingham made it clear he didn’t want to be disturbed. The coach of the Spanish club, Carlo Ancelotti, revealed with a smile that the 21-year-old midfielder annoyed him.
When journalists asked him when the mainstay of the White Ballet would return to the team, the legendary Italian complained that his charge did not answer his phone.
“I was angry with Bellingham, who is still on vacation. I called him several times, but he did not answer.
So I turned to Vinicius (Vinicius Junior, Brazilian forward for Real Madrid) to try it.
When he called him, Jude immediately picked up. “Vini” gave me the phone and then we talked,” described the 65-year-old coach with a smile on his lips.
As he added, Bellingham should not miss the first competitive match of the season, in which Real and Atalanta Bergamo will fight for the UEFA Super Cup.
