The coach of the team from Sfântu Gheorghe, the German Bernd Storck, harshly criticized the refereeing after Sepsi – Dinamo Bucharest 1-1, saying that his team should have received a penalty.
Sepsi and Dinamo ended in a tie on the field of the former, 1-1, in the fourth match of the third round of the Superliga.
Bernd Storck heard that the referee from Sepsi – Dinamo Bucharest 1-1 did not give a clear penalty to his team
The most controversial phase was spent in overtime of the first half. Denis Ciobotariu headed the ball towards the visitors’ goal, and Eddy Gnahore, who was falling, deflected the trajectory with his hand.
“It was clear. His hand was away from his body. From my point of view, it was clearly a penalty. His hand stopped the ball.
In the second half, the opponent made some changes and entered the game. I don’t know why we lost confidence in the second half. It’s like we wanted to hold on to that 1-0, but it’s not possible, we had to keep attacking.
We no longer existed in the game. Defensively we did well, but we weren’t able to play like we did in the first half. We discussed at halftime that we have to play like in the first half.
Overall I’m happy with how we’ve looked so far, but we have to work, to look the same in the second half. We are not talking about transfers, we have to work, train well.
We have scheduled a friendly match planned on Monday, all players will have a chance to play. Florin Ștefan played very well, in a new position for him.
He is on the right track, he scored, he deserved it because he works very hard. I’m happy for him because he has a different position, he’s not just a defender, he also has offensive chances, he’s a bit of a midfielder,” said Sepsi’s German coach, Bernd Storck, at the end of the game Digi Sport.
After this resultSepsi remain unbeaten in the current Superliga season, reaching seven points, just like the Steel leader, which benefits from a better clearance. On the other hand, Dinamo has four points.
