The Chinese Bestune (part of the FAW company) plans to promote a new electric SUV at the end of this year or at the beginning of next year.
The compact model is named Yueyi 03, and its first images have appeared in the database of the Ministry of Industry of the People’s Republic of China.
The length of the new electric SUV is 4450 mm, width 1860 mm, height 1635 mm, while wheelbase is 2750 mm.
The model will be available with 17- or 18-inch wheels.
The Chinese Ministry of Industry has not published photos of the interior, but according to some announcements, the Yueyi 03 should get a large tablet with a multimedia system.
For now, it has been confirmed that the Yueyi 03 is powered by an electric motor with 166 hp, while there is no information about batteries and range yet.
The Chinese media unofficially mentions the price, which could allegedly amount to 100,000 yuan (almost 13,000 euros).
