Cuza would have been a judge (court president even), but Tradărel was NEVER a judge.
Between 1986-1990 (so about 4 years) he was a Ceaușia prosecutor at the Panciu Local Prosecutor’s Office… we all know who and how he became a prosecutor at that time… then he became a lawyer just as he entered at that time (in 1990).
The position of “CCR judge” is a political one (they call you a politician there, without the objective need to have any special training), as is that of a minister. The “CCR judges” are some officials made of “jurists with numbers”, at the bread factory, at the CAP, at insurance, based on obedience and political servitude.
So his amazing expertise in giving his opinion on various subjects is fixed ZERO (all the more so since he teaches Criminal Law through the wonderful faculties where he walks).

“Romania needs a candidacy that covers the competence area of a president. You see, I am now making a claim that I ask you not to speculate on. Why do you think that Cuza laid the foundations, the foundations of the modern state, the rule of law? Of course he had a good team, because it was the historical context, but also because he was a judge and knew the mechanisms of the rule of law”, Tudorel Toader said on Antena3 CNN about a possible candidacy in the presidential elections.
He refuses to say whether he will be an independent candidate or supported by some political formations.
“I am considering maintaining the previous statements, (…) that I have received and am receiving suggestions to run,” Tudorel Toader said.
