Big disappointment! It gets stuck, restarts by itself and generally troubles the new iPhone 16…

Many iPhone 16 users are deeply disappointed and this is due to the fact that they are already facing problems with their phones. Reports say that devices freeze, slow down, while situations are described where we have unwanted restarts. These issues seem to have appeared soon after the phone was released, and software fixes so far haven’t fully resolved them. Unfortunately, this is not the only problem in the iPhone 16 series that has been reported. Yesterday, we reported that many iPhone 16 series users are bemoaning the battery drain that plagues the series. Before this, there were reports of the touchscreen malfunctioning.

On Reddit as well as on Apple’s support site, we’ve had quite a few messages about the bugs, and some users are saying that the phone is stuck in standby mode or slow to respond. Others report that their phones reboot without warning. These bugs cause a lot of frustration, with many people finding it difficult to use their phones as expected.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max appear to be the most affected models. While owners of the standard edition and the Plus model report fewer problems, Pro users see frequent errors — in some cases up to 20 times a day. In addition, some Pro users reported that they contacted Apple, who offered them replacement devices, but the problems persisted even with the new phones.

Several users have attempted a hard reset of their iPhones in an attempt to bypass the errors. However, restoring data from an iCloud backup seems to bring back the same problems. This suggests a possible connection between the glitch and iCloud, although no official confirmation has been given.

So far, Apple has not made any official statement regarding these complications.
