One UI 6 Watch
One UI 6 Watch brings new health and fitness features to Galaxy Watches. Including the Energy Score to assess performance.
Samsung has announced selected features of the Galaxy Watch Ultra and to bring Watch 7 to other Galaxy Watches via an update. One UI 6 Watch brings a variety of new features aimed at improving the user experience and providing users with valuable insights into their health and fitness.
As one of the highlight features advertises Samsung the new Energy Score. This assesses the physical and mental state of users based on health metrics such as sleep, activity and heart rate. The calculations are based on an AI algorithm that provides personalized recommendations to improve well-being.
One UI 6: Improved sleep monitoring, race function and double pinch gesture
Sleep monitoring has also been improved. Using new metrics such as sleep latency, movements during sleep, heart rate and breathing rate, users will gain detailed insights into their sleep quality. The FDA-approved function for detecting sleep apnea is now being rolled out to additional models.
For sports enthusiasts, the update offers the Race function. This makes it possible to compare current performance with previous results in real time. With the workout routine, users can create personalized training plans.
Also new is the so-called double-pinch function: With a simple and intuitive double-pinch gesture, you can answer calls, turn off alarms and take photos directly from your wrist using the connected Galaxy smartphone.
New functional dials complete the update.

The One UI 6 Watch update is gradually rolling out to the Galaxy Watch 6 series and subsequently to the Galaxy Watch 5, Watch 5 Pro, Watch 4, Watch 4 Classic and Watch FE. Availability may vary depending on market and model, Samsung said.
