Tokio Hotel singer Bill Kaulitz takes over a daily radio show on the youth station Big FM.

Bill Kaulitz’s radio show “Bill FM” started today at 6 a.m. on Big FM, which describes itself as Germany’s largest youth radio station. How long and how often Kaulitz will be on the air has not been announced.

“Several stars, such as Oliver Pocher, Paul Ripke and Lola Weippert, have already graced our station, but with the Kaulitz Takeover and billFM, a brilliant entertainer is hijacking our program,” commented Big FM program director Till Simoleit on the new addition.

Bill Kaulitz was born in Leipzig at the age of 35 and grew up near Magdeburg. In 2001 he founded the band Tokio Hotel with his brother Tom. In the summer of 2005, the Kaulitz twin brothers Bill and Tom became superstars overnight with Tokio Hotel and the song “Durch den Monsun”. The musician lives in the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles, is currently touring Europe with Tokio Hotel and is filming the second season of his Netflix documentary with his brother.

Big FM is broadcast regionally for Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Lower Saxony with Bremen and Hamburg as well as for Berlin and Brandenburg. Big FM can also be received in large parts of Bavaria. The provider has not announced how long Kaulitz has been tied to the station.
