An outbreak of bird flu was identified in the cadastral territory of Modry. The city of Modra informs about the notification of the Regional Veterinary and Food Administration Senec on the social network.
He clarifies that the outbreak of the disease was related to small farming. Therefore, the city, in cooperation with the authority, recommends to small breeders to observe biological safety measures to an increased degree in all poultry and other captive bird farms, especially disinfection of breeding areas and avoidance of contact with wild birds.
It also draws attention to the obligation to report any major death of individuals in small livestock to the veterinary and food administration office.
