Focused on the development of secure communication solutions Bittium subsidiary Bittium Wireless and Puolustusvoimat have signed a partnership agreement for the years 2025-2036.
The services are aimed at the life-cycle construction and maintenance of management systems manufactured by Bittium in use by the Defense Forces.
These include tactical data transmission systems and related products, as well as their maintenance and further development.
The partnership agreement provides the framework for purchasing Bittium’s products, software and services.
“Procurements are planned together with the Defense Forces for each year, and the Defense Forces will place separate procurement orders for products and services in several batches as agreed in the partnership agreement.”
The monetary value of the partnership agreement depends on the equipment needs and financing of the Defense Forces’ various projects, as well as the agreed maintenance and development services for each year.
