Ergin Ataman was somewhat surprised by the decision that two very important players, Kostas Slukas and Matias Lessor, played only a few opening minutes, while Lorenzo Braun did not even take off his clothes for this game.
However, black and white were not complete either. They came to this tournament without captain Vanja Marinković, Ajzea Majko, Arijan Lakić and Aleksa Dimitrijević.
How dominant Partizan was in this match can best be seen by the fact that the “greens” once reached 20 or more points in a quarter. It was in the last period (21) Panathinaikos was especially bad in the first period in which they scored only eight points.

Dwayne Washington was the most effective for the winners with 13 points, followed by Brandon Davis with 12. On the other side, Kendrick Nunn scored 16, while Jerian Grant scored 11.
The final preparations for the team from Humska are now starting before the official start of the 2024/2025 season. The black and whites will play their first game on Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. against Borac from Čačany in the Aba League.
