Black Tables: Premiere for Star’s new detective series

For the first time on Greek television, the new police series “Black Tables” by Sofia Kazantsian and Mario Iordanos made its appearance on Friday night on the STAR program. From the very first moment, the series won impressions, especially on social media, thanks to its dark and atmospheric aesthetic.

The story begins with a crime. The series opens with the murder of a young girl, on whose face the killer had left his own imprint by painting a black painting. This girl was the daughter of Agapi and Nikos, roles played by Lena Papaligoura and Ioannis Papazisis.

When the police officer who took over the case had to announce the tragic event to the parents, Agapi, the heroine of Lena Papaligoura, collapsed emotionally as she realized that she would see her daughter’s lifeless body for the last time.

This particular scene was the most shocking of the first episode, as Agapi could not bear to face the frozen body of her daughter in front of her. “My child, my love! What did they do to you? Why, my love?’ she cried in despair at the morgue, before breaking down emotionally, saying “I’m drowning” and bursting into tears.

At this moment, the medical examiner tried to calm her down, while Agapi continued, drowning in pain, to wonder desperately: “Where is my little boy? Where is my child?’
