DAPURPACUID – Dashboard camera manufacturer, Blackvue enlivened the 2024 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW), by presenting a variety of products including its newest models.
At the exhibition at the end of this year, Blackvue launched the DR770X BOX Pro, a dashcam product equipped with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology which has a high level of security.
With this technology, Blackvue claims to be the first dashcam manufacturer to adapt it into a ‘CCTV’ product for motorized vehicles.
Blackvue Indonesia Marketing Director, Rudy said, Blackvue is a pioneer in the dashcam industry, so it has had driver data from all over the world for a long time.
“With deep learning technology, our dashcam has the highest AI accuracy and is the smartest and most accurate sleep detection tool,” he explained in an official broadcast, Friday.
The advantages of the Blackvue DR770X BOX Pro include providing warnings when overspeeding, sharp turns, sudden braking and sudden acceleration, and not using a seat belt.
With this latest technology, it is hoped that Blackvue users will not only get evidence if an incident occurs while traveling, but can also take precautions.
Blackvue also has various protections on the camera to prevent recording evidence from being deliberately removed by certain individuals. For example, locking the direction of the camera so that it cannot be rotated.
There is also a separate storage box that can be hidden so that the recording remains there even if the camera is stolen. Then cable protection that cannot be removed, continues to operate at extreme temperatures.
This dashcam also features a built-in Parking Mode via hardwiring cable. The camera will continue to monitor the condition of the car when it is in the parking area.
When using the cloud feature, an alert will immediately be sent to the user’s device if the car is hit in the parking lot. This feature ensures the vehicle is always protected, even when parked.
The Parking Mode feature includes a built-in voltage monitor to protect the vehicle battery, and can be easily adjusted in the BlackVue App.
Blackvue DR770X BOX Pro also optimizes Event Buffer twice as long. This product is equipped with a 10 second buffer, an increase of 5 seconds compared to the previous model.
This means that video clips of events recorded while driving or parking include ten seconds of footage that occurred before the triggering event occurred.
Not only that, the DR770X BOX Pro also includes GPS, Wi-Fi and optional LTE connectivity. This GPS feature embeds speed and location data in recorded video, allowing users to see the camera location on a map via the Blackvue application or BlackVue Viewer.
While Wi-Fi allows users to connect to BlackVue via smartphone or tablet for file transfer, so the camera connects to BlackVue Cloud using a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (router).
To deliver the best cloud experience, users can connect an optional LTE connectivity module to the USB port.
With BlackVue Cloud, owners can track their vehicle and view through one of three camera lenses in real-time via the App or BlackVue Viewer.
BlackVue Cloud also includes prominent safety features such as collision notification and automatic upload of event recording, which is especially useful when combined with Parking Mode.
Other important features of the DR770X BOX Pro are internal speakers, impact sensors and motion detection. The dash cam notifies the user when it turns on, turns off, or detects an error, via a speaker embedded in the front camera.
The front camera’s internal accelerometer detects impacts to trigger event recording, and activates Parking Mode when stationary for five minutes.
BlackVue tags all videos (Normal, Event, Parking Mode, etc.) so users can filter them and quickly find what they need in the app or BlackVue Viewer.
