Usually we compare the quality of photography in the best models, read – flagships. There are differences, but they are not striking, not as striking as it may seem. And we almost never compare dissimilar devices, although such a comparison could be interesting. It is no secret that many companies today use sensors from Samsung, but at the same time write their own image processing algorithms. And then I became interested in what would happen if we compare a relatively budget Samsung with higher-end models. For comparison, I took the Galaxy A25 (50-megapixel module, price around 23-24 thousand rubles), Tecno Pova 6 Pro (108 megapixels from Samsung, price about 29 thousand rubles), and realme GT6 (50 megapixels, Sony LYT-808, price about 70 thousand rubles). Very different models, and in theory we should see this in the quality of photos taken with the main camera. Before I decided to conduct an experiment, I did not even know what results it would lead to. For simplicity, I limited myself to ten photos, I think that they will be more than enough to draw conclusions. And here is what we got.

We see that the GT6 with a new generation sensor easily outperforms all competitors, which is logical. In second place is Tecno, then comes Samsung.

Here again the winner is GT6, running ahead, I will say that the camera in this device has won everywhere, which is expected, the fight is for the second place. Here again it is Pova.

And again Tecno is second, and Samsung is third, it seems that this will continue.

But evening shots change everything, now I have a second Samsung.

What can be said based on the results of the comparison? In first place is realme GT6, this could be expected, the device has a new camera module, it is far ahead. But there was an intrigue between Samsung and Tecno, which was resolved in a draw, since the number of ratings was the same for each option (five to five). It turns out that, despite the different generations of modules, they are more or less the same in different shooting scenarios. It is interesting that the comparable price level of Samsung and Tecno actually gives the same result in photography. And this once again proves that often the price gives a certain level of quality, which we involuntarily demonstrated in this comparison. So it is indicative and as an experience it turned out to be successful. Thanks to everyone who took part in the voting.
