Odido may be listed on the Amsterdam stock exchange. According to Bloomberg news agency, owners are Apax Partners and Warburg Pincus busy with preparations for an IPO. Odido does not want to confirm that.
The company, which is separated from T-Mobile, has a valuation of 7 billion euros.
Odido’s IPO on Damrak should take place next year.
Another option is to sell the company. Apax Partners and Warburg Pincus acquired T-Mobile Netherlands from Deutsche Telekom in 2021 and also the remaining stake of Swedish Tele2 in T-Mobile Netherlands for 5.1 billion euros.
Odido has more than a hundred stores in the Netherlands and approximately 2,000 employees. The telecom company has approximately 8 million customers.
