The long-wheelbase BMW X5 for the Chinese market is getting a special edition that will be offered in a limited run of just 1,000 units.
The X5 Dark Flame starts as the X5 xDrive40Li (has a wheelbase of 3105 mm), and combines black with Titan Gold accents.
Created by the BMW Designworks studio in Shanghai, the X5 Dark Flame features black 22-inch wheels with matching brake calipers. To set it apart from the regular model, there is a Dark Flame logo on the side sills, while the door projectors also display the special edition name.
The center console also features a Dark Flame tile. Standard equipment also includes a Sky Lounge panoramic sunroof and an M Sport exhaust system.
The engine is a 3.0-liter turbo six-cylinder with 380 hp and 520 Nm, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in five and a half seconds.
BMW charges 830,000 yuan for the X5 Dark Flame, which is 107,450 euros.
