Aminul Islam Amin, president of BNP Ward No. 23 under Lalbagh Police Station of Dhaka Metropolitan South, has been expelled from the party on charges of extortion and encroachment on Azimpur Cemetery.
This was stated in a circular signed by Saidur Rahman Mintu, Joint Convenor (in charge of office) of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP on Thursday night.
According to the circular, Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP convener Rafiqul Alam Majnu and member secretary Tanveer Ahmed Robin have been expelled from all posts of the party.
In the circular, everyone has been instructed to refrain from all political and organizational contact with the expelled Aminul Islam Amin.
