Boban stings Inter and Milan over the ultras investigation: “Strange situations but we’ve always known: it’s worrying”

Zvonomir Boban explained his point of view on what is happening around Milan and Inter after the investigation into the ultras and the possible involvement of the clubs: “I don’t judge but we know how things are and the interests that are circulating. It’s not easy for the clubs.”

Zvonimir Boban wanted to give his thoughts on the investigation raging in Milan regarding the two curves of Inter and Milan. An investigation which has uncovered the malfeasance and criminality behind the management of the fans and which has put the two clubs involved in various ways in difficulty and which will have to demonstrate their extraneousness and distance from the disputed facts. “It’s been known for a long time that this is the case” admitted the former Croatian midfielder, “a worrying situation”.

The investigation into the Inter and Milan Curves, Boban’s thoughts

Former player, former club and FIFA manager: over the years, Zvonomir Boban has had the opportunity to analyze, know and deal with the world of football, for better or for worse. Even coming into direct contact with the world of fans, especially the Rossoneri fans where he spent important years as a footballer, full of victories and trophies. “We heard some strange things, many had too many strange interests and this is worrying. It’s been known for a long time“. From what has emerged from the investigations, Inter will have to respond to even more serious accusations than Milan, such as mafia infiltration into the affairs of the Curva Nord and contacts with the club. “We have always known how things are and the interests that involve many… It’s not easy for companies in these cases” underlined Boban who, however, does not rush or go into judgment: “Not I judge anyway, I’m not inside things and we need to see the opinion of whoever is investigating, then we can comment”

Boban in dispute with Milan for dismissal

During an interview on Radio Dee Jay, the former midfielder also returned to his relations with Milan, which were damaged by his dismissal in March 2020 when he was fired outright, for an unwelcome interview. “I don’t have any hard feelings, because I I have always loved, supported and followed Milan. And I have to say what I think, always. Then when and if I’m wrong I’m also ready to admit it, but that interview was sacrosanct. Shortly after my arrival there was no more communication, they had established relations with Rangnick and did not allow me to clarify my position. Now we are still in court for that dismissal”
