The president of CJ Bihor, the liberal Ilie Bolojan, declared on Sunday, after the end of the polls, that the vote that the Romanians gave today is below the potential of the PNL and there is a responsibility that those who lead the party must assume.
“We have different results depending on the polls for the PNL candidate, but as these results show, our candidate is not on the podium. This means that the vote that the Romanians gave today is below the potential of the PNL, whatever one may say. For every result in any democratic system there is a responsibility that the party strategists, that those who lead the party must assume, especially when there is a difference between the projected data, the forecasted data and the results”, said Ilie Bolojan, after the results of the exit polls.
According to him, PNL has two possibilities: “Or to understand this lesson and take certain decisions and understand that the party must really be a factor of modernization for Romania and represent its electorate. Or, if it continues in this formula, it means that the results will be the expected ones”.
“The night is a good counselor and I trust in correct decisions in the coming days”, added Ilie Bolojan.
