A Russian military personnel and his wife were injured in an explosion in a parked car in the Russian capital, Moscow.
According to the TASS news agency, citing local authorities, an explosion occurred in a parked car in the north of Moscow in the morning hours.
The explosion occurred when Andrey Torgashov, a Russian military personnel who was reported to be participating in a “special military operation” in Ukraine, and his wife got into the car. Torgashov and his wife were injured in the explosion and taken to hospital, while some vehicles in the parking lot were also damaged.
Russian Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk said on her social media account that the incident occurred when an unidentified object mounted on a car exploded. Volk said that the police were continuing their investigation into the explosion.
