Bonduelle releases its bagged salads

He wants to close his factory in Saint-Mihiel (Meuse), where 159 employees work. Around forty jobs would also be eliminated at headquarters level. In France, Bonduelle should do business with LSDH, already present in the segment via its Les Crudettes brand and will take over the Genas site (Rhône).

«We are taking over the national brand and private label activity», indicated Emmanuel Vasseneix, the boss of LSDH, to L’Usine Nouvelle. Bonduelle salads will therefore always be available on the shelves. In total, four of the French champion’s eight European production sites dedicated to the fresh activity will leave the house, since two German factories are sold.
