BOOX expands its eInk product catalog with three new devices

The BOOX firm has presented three new devices within its eInk series that bring changes at the design level, and also at the hardware and software level. These improvements have a goal that is as simple as it is important, to improve the user experience and make it more intuitive.

We start with the Note Air4 C, an eInk tablet with a color screen that has a customizable and easy-to-use interface, where the applications are presented as on a conventional tablet. This model brings improvements in screen quality, such as higher brightness and superior contrast.

The BOOX Note Air4 C is configured with a 8-core CPU and has 6 GB of RAM, which means it is capable of delivering good performance with different workflows. Its panel can be customized and adapted depending on the type of task we are performing, and its writing surface offers an experience similar to the one we would have writing on paper.

The Palma 2 is another of the most interesting novelties that BOOX has presented. It comes with an improved version of Android, has a more powerful processor than the previous generation, has 6GB RAM and has 128 GB of storage capacity. Its design is similar to that of a smartphone, allowing it to be used with one hand.

This device has a screen eInk Carta 1200 which offers a viewing experience similar to paper, and has access to the Google Play Store, so we can enjoy a large number of applications. The screen has two-tone lighting, and its multimedia capabilities are completed with a 16 MP camera and a pair of speakers.

Finally we have the Note Max, an A4-sized tablet that has a 13.3-inch screen mounted on a chassis that is only 4.6 mm thick. It is very thin and light, and has a latest generation eInk Carta 1300 displaywhich means it offers a fantastic viewing experience. It is an option for those who need something larger than the BOOX Go 10.3.

This model comes with a eight core processorhas 6 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128 GB. With it we can perform different tasks fluidly and without any type of problem, and we can do it in multitasking thanks to the split screen mode which includes advanced PDF tools.

Firmware is also important in this type of device. BOOX is aware of this, and to round off the presentation of these new products, it has confirmed the launch of an update to its firmware, which includes solutions to improve reading and note-taking through its AI-integrated toolssuch as Smart Scribe and text recognition.

The latest update includes new customization options and improved user experience with functions such as creating outlines in the “Notes” application and reading and annotating PDFs. With the integrated document reading application, NeoReader V3, we will enjoy better multilingual typography and OCR support in the background for text recognition.
