BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul is at 11057 points.

At the opening, BIST 100 index increased by 12.99 points and 0.12 percent compared to the previous close, reaching 11,152.32 points. As of 14:49, the index fell by 0.7 percent to 11,057 points.

Following a bullish course yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul completed the day with a 0.67 percent increase at 11,139.34 points, achieving a record closing and reaching its highest level at 11,188.12 points.

Analysts said that while the expectation that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will cut interest rates twice this year has increased risk appetite in US stock markets, the search for direction in Asia and Europe has come to the fore with the uncertainties created by the results of the elections to be held in the country.
