Online bank BoursoBank has had the best first half of its history this year with the acquisition of 760,000 new customers and an increase of more than 5 billion euros in all its managed assets.
The good momentum of online banks is confirmed! The neobank BoursoBank – which has just revealed its results for the first half of 2024 – is obviously no exception. With more than 6.5 million customers at the end of June (an increase of 11% in six months), the company managed to attract 760,000 new customers over the period, in particular thanks to its attractive pricing (it has been the cheapest bank for 16 years according to a survey published by The world et Panorabanques.com in December 2023).
While 5% of connected French people say they have chosen BoursoBank as their main bank (+1% over one year), it is now in the top 10 of the main banks ranking. BoursoBank is also the most cited brand with 24% of multi-banked French people who have made it their secondary bank (In Banque study carried out in partnership with Capgemini Invent and Tessi in June 2024). With this success, Boursorama now reaches the 9e place of the most consulted digital brands in France with more than 100 million monthly visits.
BoursoBank is getting closer to its objectives for 2026
Its The Corner program – aimed at granting privileges and price discounts to BoursoBank customers with a current account – is also a success: around 150,000 buyers in the second quarter (+29% compared to Q2 2023) carried out nearly €90 million in transactions (+24%). In total, this program allowed them to save more than €5 million in Q2 2024.
At the same time, while the online bank continues to gain market share in the first half of 2024, it also records an increase of 5 billion euros in its total managed assets, which now reach 78 billion euros. With these results, the neobank is getting closer to its objectives of having more than 8 million customers and 300 million euros in net income in 2026.
“During the first six months of 2024, BoursoBank delivered the best first half of its history in terms of the number of clients recruited and growth in the bank’s overall outstanding balances, (…) thus confirming its unique commercial attractiveness in France and demonstrating its ability to become, more than ever, the main bank for its clients.”rejoices Benoît Grisoni, CEO of Boursorama, in a press release.
