Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson lost his fight against internet star Jake Paul.
Almost 20 years after his last professional fight, the legendary returned to the ring Mike Tyson. In the fight, however, it quickly became clear that it might be better for him not to fight anymore. After a good first round, Tyson looked exhausted, which is completely understandable for the 58-year-old. 31 years younger Paul he attacked him again and again and scored several hits. Before the last 8th round, Tyson barely got up. AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys, was roaring. 70,000 spectators witnessed Paul dominate and Tyson run out of breath. Except for one good round, the old legend could not keep up with the strong opponent. In the end, Tyson lost by decision of the judges (80-72, 79-73, 79-73). Nevertheless, Tyson said after the fight: “I am very happy. I don’t have to prove anything to anyone.” Despite the obvious defeat, the boxing megastar does not give up and still wants to continue.
