You are probably familiar with Android Auto, the software for using all kinds of apps while driving. Normally you have to connect your smartphone to your car’s infotainment system, but AAWireless shows that it can be done more easily. The Dutch company sells smart dongles that allow you to get the wireless version of Android Auto in your car.
Earlier this month, the company introduced the AAWireless Two, its latest dongle. With the device you set up a wireless connection between your phone and car. You no longer have to fiddle with USB cables to get Android Auto working, but only use a linked smartphone.
The AAWireless Two has been improved in several areas compared to its predecessor. For example, the dongle is 30 percent smaller, but what is more important is that it now has a button. The button is multifunctional and can be used, for example, to switch between paired devices, or you press it to put the AAWireless Two on standby.
You adjust the function of the button in the companion app, which you can download for free. You also use the app to install updates for the device, so that you don’t miss out on new features. Of course, you also use the app to set up the AAWireless for the first time.
You can order the AAWireless Two via the button above at the official web store. The device costs 59,99 euro. Please note that stock is limited and you must be quick to get a copy in time. When it was released earlier this month, the Android Auto dongle quickly sold out.
