Brazilians are building the world’s tallest residential tower. It will reach the sky

Among the numerous residential towers currently under construction, this Brazilian one will certainly stand out. Not only with its height, which is supposed to make it the tallest residential tower in the world (or at least it will compete with the Binghatti tower in Dubai for this title), but also with its simple, slender silhouette. The design was created by Brazilian artist Lalalli Senna, and is to be erected in Camboriu Beacha city in the state of Santa Catarina, known for its seaside panorama full of skyscrapers.

The simple structure at the base extends forward, creating numerous terraces covered with greenery and pools. The entire building will additionally stand on a podium, which will be surrounded by large winding terraces inspired by the racetrack. This space will be dedicated to the Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Sennawho died at the age of 34 in an accident – the skyscraper project is a joint venture between the development, construction and engineering company FG Empreendimentos and Senna Brand, the late driver’s lifestyle brand. The similarity of names is not accidental here, Lalalli Senna is Ayrton’s niece.

What will make the building stand out are the strips of lights around the base (also curving like a racetrack) and along the façade all the way to the sky. Literally, because the visualizations show that they won’t end with the building, but will be shone above his roof.

– The hero is made of flesh and bones, so he starts from the material axis. However, he looks for qualities that belong to the realm of ideals, such as strength, skill, honor and truth. The hero sets off on a journey towards what belongs to the heavenly domain, trying to reflect these immaterial aspects – explains his idea Lalalli Senna.

Senna Tower is supposed to measure exactly 500 meters (Dubai skyscraper, if built in 2027 – 557 m.) There will be 228 residential units, including 18 “residences”, 204 apartments, four duplex penthouses and two “mega triplex penthouses” with an area of 903 sq m.

The skyscraper has already received approval from local authorities and spatial planning bodies. Construction is scheduled to start in the second half of 2025.
