The Governors’ Decree, signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, resulted in the change of governors of 16 provinces.
With this decision, the governors of 12 provinces were dismissed and appointed as chief civil inspectors. The changes were published in the Official Gazette dated September 19, 2024. Among the provinces where new governors were appointed within the scope of the decree are Kırşehir, Bolu and Manisa. A total of 28 appointments were made.
