BSTI expressed satisfaction with the production process of Unilever Bangladesh products

An inspection team from Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) visited Kalurghat factory in Chittagong of Unilever Bangladesh (UBL), the country’s leading FMCG (FMCG) manufacturing and marketing company.

BSTI Director General (Grade-1) SM Ferdous Alam, Director (CM) Md Nurul Amin, Director (Chemistry) Gazi Md Nurul Islam, Director (Administration) Prof Md Nurul Islam closely monitored the production, packaging and quality control process of the factory. And Director (Chittagong) Md. Saiful Islam

During the visit, they expressed their satisfaction with the modern technology and the orderly production process carried out in an environment-friendly manner. Unilever Bangladesh Factory Director Somnath Chowgule and Unilever Consumer Care Limited Regulatory Affairs Head and Company Secretary Md. Naharul Islam Mollah along with senior officers present at this time gave details about the various activities of the organization.

The BSTI delegation said that the institute has set an example in maintaining quality standards and protecting the environment.
