“On November 14, at around 10:40 a.m., a 55-year-old man was detected by the Police of the Road Brigade while driving a vehicle on a street in sector 5 of the Capital under the influence of alcoholic beverages”, forward the cited source.
After testing with the alcohol test device, a concentration of more than 0.40 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air resulted. Thus, the driver was taken to the INML headquarters for the collection of biological samples.
Following the checks, the police found out that the man had a canceled driver’s license.
During the same day, the man was detected again by the Road Brigade police while he was under the influence of alcoholic beverages, the value indicated by the alcohol test device being again this time over 0.40mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air.
The criminal investigation bodies of the Road Brigade, under the supervision of the Public Prosecutor’s Office attached to the District 5 Court, ordered the detention of the man for 24 hours, for driving a vehicle without a driving license and two offenses of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
The man was presented to the 5th District Court with the proposal to apply a preventive custodial measure, and the judge of rights and liberties ordered the measure of preventive arrest for 30 days.
