The PS will “soon” present a counter-proposal to the one delivered today by the Government for the State Budget negotiations, a socialist source confirmed to Lusa.
According to the same source, this counter-proposal will be delivered to the executive led by Luís Montenegro “soon”.
The Prime Minister, Luís Montenegro, presented this Thursday to the leader of the PS, Pedro Nuno Santos, a counterproposal to the one that had been delivered last week by the socialists.
Pedro Nuno Santos will meet on Tuesday night with the socialist parliamentary group about the State Budget for 2025 (OE2025), a party source told Lusa.
This meeting will take place two days before the deadline for delivery of the document by the PSD/CDS-PP Government.
Upon leaving the PS headquarters, in Lisbon, the PS parliamentary leader, Alexandra Leitão, considered that the Government’s counter-proposal for the State Budget negotiations “is not irrefutable”.
