Sky Sport will broadcast over 20 test matches of the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga clubs live in the coming weeks.
After the European Championships at home, fans are already looking ahead again. Since the beginning of July, all Bundesliga clubs have been preparing for the coming season, and the clubs in the 2nd Bundesliga even longer. Even before the 2024/25 season in the 2nd Bundesliga begins in just over two weeks and two weeks later in the DFB Cup and the Supercup for the Bundesliga teams, Sky Sport is there and broadcasts numerous test matches live.
2. Bundesliga starts soon on Sky
Here, fans have the opportunity to get a first impression of the new signings at their own club and the competition. There are also numerous new coaches who are getting ready for their first season in the Bundesliga or 2. Bundesliga: among them Vincent Kompany on the Bayern bench against Tottenham Hotspur, Nuri Sahin with BVB on a trip to Asia and in tests against Villarreal and Aston Villa, and world champion Miroslav Klose as the new club coach against Juventus Turin. Other live broadcasts on Sky Sport include five matches by Eintracht Frankfurt (including in North America and Valencia), VfB Stuttgart’s two games in Japan, and RB Leipzig’s matches against Aston Villa and Wolverhampton as part of their trip to the USA.
Sky will show the matches in cooperation with the DFL, BVB and Eintracht Frankfurt directly, as well as Onside Sports GmbH, which organizes and markets the test matches of numerous Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga clubs. Sky Sport will broadcast a total of over 20 matches live until August 10.
All games will be on Sky Sports Bundesliga or on Sky Sport News broadcast live, usually on both channels in parallel. In addition to classic TV or with Sky Go, all broadcasts are also available on mobile and on the go via the WOW streaming service.
