The President of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF), Răzvan Burleanu, sent a message in which he looks back on 2024, which he says was a “remarkable” one, then says that 2025 will be “an equally important year”.

“Let’s look with confidence to 2025, a year that brings us challenges and opportunities to continue producing new memorable memories together. The qualification campaign for the World Championship and the participation of the national youth teams in EURO U21 and EURO U19 are just some of the important moments that await us!” says Burleanu.
The President of the FRF thanked the Federation’s partners, affiliated members, sponsors and, above all, the supporters who were with the national teams.
“Together, we managed to turn 2024 into a memorable year, a year in which Romania inspired the world of world football through education, work, determination, passion and unity. The Generation of Soul and the entire FRF team – from the players, the staff of the national teams, referees and all those who contribute day by day to the development of football – send you the best thoughts”, says Răzvan Burleanu in his message .
