During the camp, young people will develop their entrepreneurship and innovation skills, working in teams on the development of technology-based business concepts focusing on sustainability.
The educational leadership camp “Junior Achievement Unlocked” invites talented young people from Latvia who have demonstrated their leadership abilities throughout the year – created the best student training companies in Latvia, passed the selection and were accepted into the “JA Latvia” Leadership Program, as well as demonstrated excellent and excellent academic results in the national olympiads.
For six days, from July 22 to 27, in the premises of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences, students work in teams on the development of innovation-based business projects, which they will present and defend to the jury at the end of the camp. In the process, knowledge about the cycle of creation of start-ups is acquired – from idea and prototyping to business modeling and marketing, and works practically under the guidance of Latvian entrepreneurs and business environment professionals. Four evenings, four live broadcasts of conversations about business, career, society, politics and humanity, in a word, about the essentials. Every evening, an hour-long, exciting discussion between well-known people and Latvia’s most talented young people.
