BWH Hotels enters into partnership with Mews

Mewsthe market-leading cloud service for the hotel and restaurant industry, has entered into an agreement with the renowned hotel chain BWH Hotels (BWH) to be an authorized PMS supplier.

With Mews, BWH Hotels gets access to the most innovative technology platforms within the hospitality sector that increase operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.

“The collaboration with Mews aligns with BWH’s constant focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences. Mews’ cloud-based platform offers flexibility and scalability that makes it easy for European BWH properties to integrate Mews into existing systems while following our strategy of technological development and operational excellence,” said Ron Pohl, President of WorldHotels and International Operations at BWH Hotels. “We look forward to the collaboration with Mews, which will increase the hotel’s operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.”

Mews offers robust features that streamline property management from guest check-in to backend operations. BWH’s properties can be seamlessly integrated with existing systems and at the same time be at the forefront of trends in the industry. The increased efficiency improves guest experiences and resource management, which aligns with BWH’s goal of delivering exceptional value to their hoteliers and guests.

BWH partnered with Mews because of the company’s excellent customer service and proven track record of successful integrations. Mews will also play an important role in prioritizing guest loyalty and guest experience features such as online check-in and virtual concierge service. These additional customized experiences are expected to further increase brand loyalty.

“Mews is very pleased to partner with BWH Hotels,” says Matt Welle, CEO of Mews. “We have worked closely with the team at BWH Hotels to ensure a smooth transition and the collaborative spirit of our teams has laid a solid foundation for a successful partnership. We look forward to the fact that together we will set new standards for innovation and operational excellence and deliver extraordinary experiences to all BWH guests.”

The extensive planning and coordination between the two teams has ensured a smooth transition for several of BWH’s hotel properties, including Aidan by Best Western on Lolland, which is operated by CIC Hospitality.

“Since the implementation of Mews at the beginning of the summer, we have already saved a lot of time on administrative tasks. The system is easy and user-friendly, and the Mews payment system has been instrumental in dealing with no-shows. By streamlining our backend processes, Mews brings efficiency that enables us to spend more on our guests and improve their experiences,” Thomas Furulund, Senior Operations Manager at CIC Hospital and Aidan by Best Western Lolland.

CIC Hospitality has a hotel portfolio of 30 hotels in Scandinavia, and in addition to Aidan by Best Western Lolland, which has already taken Mews into use, two other hotels are on the way:

“We are always looking for technology to help us work smarter and reduce administrative tasks at the hotel level, and Mews has been a game-changer. We had a tight deadline for the implementation of Mews and with the help of Mews University, the onboarding team worked efficiently, making it easy for staff to get on board quickly. As we roll out Mews on a larger part of our portfolio, we look forward to the effect it will have when we automate more of our manual processes, increase guest loyalty and offer more than overnight stays,” says Øyvind Frisak, Commercial Director at CIC Hospitality.

Working with Mews equips BWH Hotels to further enhance their operational capabilities and continue their legacy of hospitality excellence.
