In the third group match of the Hungarian women’s water polo team, they won 17-11 against China on the competition day of the Paris Olympics on Friday, and with their success reached the quarter-finals.

The match was confidently won by the Hungarian team, which had a particularly weak start, with good play in the second half. Team captain Rita Keszthelyi scored seven goals in the match. In the opening match against the Dutch, they were defeated, but before China, the Hungarian team also beat Canada, which closes the group stage against Australia on Sunday.
