BYD Indonesia Continues ‘PDKT’ to Consumers Through Mall to Mall Exhibitions

DAPURPACUID – PT BYD Motor Indonesia has once again greeted the public and its consumers through a series of ‘Mall to Mall’ exhibitions in a number of cities since the beginning of this year.

Medan and Semarang are the next cities for the exhibition, which will take place on 14-17 November 2024 simultaneously. Previously, BYD Indonesia held exhibitions in Jakarta, Bandung and Makassar.

It was stated that the positive enthusiasm shown by the public during the previous exhibition encouraged BYD Indonesia to continue expanding its reach in Indonesia.

BYD Motor Indonesia Public & Government Relations, Luther T. Panjaitan said, Medan and Semarang are two strategic cities in BYD’s strategy to expand reach in Indonesia.

BYD Motor Indonesia held a Mall to Mall exhibition at Deli Park Podomoro Mall, Medan.

“By choosing Medan and Semarang, we believe these two cities have great potential in adopting environmentally friendly vehicles, bringing electric vehicle innovation closer to consumers in both North Sumatra and Central Java,” explained Luther.

According to him, these two cities have great potential in developing electric vehicles, with people increasingly aware of the importance of protecting the environment and the need for more efficient mobility.

The exhibition in the city of Medan was held at Deli Park Podomoro Mall, occupying an area of 388.45 m² and featuring two BYD M6 units, 1 Seal unit, 1 Atto 3 unit and 1 Dolphin unit.

Test drive units are also available including BYD M6, Seal, Atto 3, and Dolphin. Here, consumers and visitors are given the opportunity to explore while driving BYD units.

BYD Motor Indonesia’s Mall to Mall exhibition was held at Paragon Mall, Semarang.

Meanwhile in Semarang, the exhibition was held at Paragon Mall with a booth area of up to 300 m². The presence in this city is a continuation of BYD Indonesia’s successful participation in GIIAS Semarang, last October 2024.

At Paragon Mall, visitors can see several combinations of BYD vehicle units, including units available in the test drive area, namely M6, Seal, Atto 3, and Dolphin.

“We hope that through this exhibition, BYD Indonesia can bring the people of Medan and Semarang closer to environmentally friendly electric vehicle technology,” concluded Luther.

While the exhibition was taking place in both cities, it was fully supported by the local official BYD dealer network, namely BYD Arista Semarang and BYD Arista Amir Hamzah in Medan City.

To date, BYD’s official network has reached 30 dealers spread across 16 cities throughout Indonesia, to provide convenience to customers and potential consumers.

On the other hand, BYD Indonesia is also actively collaborating with various parties to expand the network of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) in Indonesia.

This is done to make it easier for electric vehicle users to access charging. Innovations in charging technology, including fast charging and wireless charging, are also continuously being developed to increase efficiency.

BYD is also actively educating the public about the benefits of electric vehicles through various activities, encouraging the transition towards environmentally friendly future mobility. (dpid/TH)
