Bytedance with 3 apps in the American app top 10

For a brief moment, Lemon8 was number one in the US on Apple’s App Store, now ChatGPT leads again.

Bytedance has three apps: Lemon8, TikTok and Capcut the top ten from Apple’s download store.

In the same list there is another Chinese app: Temu. Even in the US, the homeland of Android and iOS, four foreign apps are in the top list.

Lemon8 stood briefly last week at number one in that list. The app works with the same technology as sister company TikTok, but for photography. Its operation is very similar to Pinterest.

Capcut is a well-known appearance among media makers. They use the software to edit videos on their phone or computer. Competitors include Inshot, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.
