Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Precision Package

Cadillac’s answer to similar high-performance sedans offered by several European (primarily German) car companies has undergone another refresh, and the last American V8 muscle sedan due to go into production next year has been boosted with a dedicated Precision package that the CT5-V Blackwing optimized for use on closed tracks.

As it says Klix.ba, in the American car company, they point out that behind the word Precision there is a multi-adjustable suspension with adaptive shock absorbers (MagneRide), stiffer springs and stronger stabilizers. In support of superior handling, there is a recalibrated electronic limited differential lock and a more precise steering system, as well as Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires on lightened 19-inch aluminum wheels, behind which superior carbon-ceramic brakes can be seen.

“After everything we’ve done, while thinking about achieving record lap times at different tracks around the world, we are confident that the refreshed CT5-V combined with the Precision package will live up to the expectations of even the biggest enthusiasts both on the road and on the track,” said the boss. As a reminder, the CT5-V Blackwing is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine (LT4) that, with the assistance of a mechanical compressor, develops 668 HP and 893 Nm of torque, which is distributed to the rear axle by a manual 6-speed or automatic 10-speed gearbox.

In combination with a manual gearbox, the “last of the Mohicans” can reach 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and reach more than 320 km/h.
