Cadillac has unveiled the Sollei concept, described as the ultimate design expression of a luxury electric convertible.
This imaginative design exercise pushes the boundaries of future bespoke creations, tailored to reflect the unique passions and interests of its clientele.
Celebrating Cadillac’s heritage of bold colors, the exterior is painted in “Manila Cream,” a nod to Cadillac models from the 1950s.
The Sollei Concept is envisioned as an all-electric, 2+2 convertible, featuring Cadillac’s signature 55-inch pillar-to-pillar display, an awe-inspiring interior, and exterior lighting choreography for arrival and departure.
The name Sollei combines the concepts of sun (“Sol”) and leisure (“Lei”), symbolizing Cadillac’s optimistic inspiration for a leisurely lifestyle.
“Sollei reimagines the discovery of travel, envisioning a personalized driving experience that connects man with the natural world,” said Erin Crosley, Cadillac’s director of design.
The concept features MycoWorks’ Fine Mycelium, a material used in mats and door panel pockets. This material marks Cadillac’s commitment to pioneering the development of renewable automotive resources.
The exterior exudes emotion with its low, elongated body and wide stance. Inside, Cadillac’s “art of travel” philosophy is evident with features such as a fully integrated beverage cooler and handcrafted wood veneers.
Sollei personalized ambient lighting (in multi-zone with 126 color options) and birdwatching accessories further enhance the luxury experience connected to nature, demonstrating Cadillac’s commitment to bespoke design and innovative luxury.
